DR. AMEERA SULAKHE, O.D.

Dr. Sulakhe (Dr. S as many call her), is passionate about the health of your eyes. She believes the eyes can tell a lot about your overall health. She is a California native and resides in Chicago with her husband. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Irvine in Public Health. Dr. S received her Doctorate of Optometry at Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry. She is a member of The American Optometric Association and is fluent in languages such as Spanish and Hindi. She believes patients deserve personalized eye care to meet their visual needs.

When she is not seeing patients, she enjoys dancing, traveling with her husband, and learning about other cultures. She enjoys meeting new people and is excited to become an integral part of the Edgebrook community.

DR. LINDA WEIL, O.D.

Dr. Weil received her Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry. After graduation, she completed an internship and residency in pediatric & Binocular Vision at the State University of New York and the Eye Institute in Philadelphia. Following her post graduate studies, she joined the faculty at the University of Houston, where she lectured on the treatment of lazy eyes and other childhood conditions. In 1989 she returned to Chicago where she practiced for over 20 years. Prior to joining Edgebrook Vision Center, she was the director of Optometry at the Infant Welfare Society. Most recently, she completed another post-graduate course in Behavior/Developmental Optometry. She is a member of The College of Optometrist in Vision Development and The American Optometric Association.

Dr. Weil lives in Chicago with her husband Steve Silk and son Gabriel.
